Download & play offline
Take the whole game with you. Native builds for Android and Windows — a title screen, save slots, and no browser needed. Free while the game is in testing.
Android
A signed, sideloadable APK. Runs fully offline. Touch controls throughout — this is the build the game is primarily tested on.
Download APK- Tap Download APK on your Android phone or tablet.
- Open the downloaded file. Android will ask to allow installs from this source — tap Settings and enable Allow from this source, then go back.
- Tap Install, then Open. That's it — no account, no store.
Signed with a stable developer key, so future versions install right over the top and keep your saves. Not from Google Play, so Play Protect may show a one-time "unrecognized app" notice — choose Install anyway.
Windows
A standard desktop installer. Adds a Start-menu shortcut and runs in its own window, keyboard or mouse. Best on a full-size screen.
Download for Windows- Download and run Ronin-Setup.exe.
- Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC" — this build isn't code-signed yet. Click More info → Run anyway.
- Follow the installer, then launch Ronin from the Start menu.
The installer is not yet signed with a code-signing certificate, so the SmartScreen warning is expected for now. It will go away once the release is signed.
No install?
Play right now, in your browser.
The full game also runs in any modern browser on desktop or phone — nothing to download, and it's the fastest way to jump in. The native builds above are for playing offline and for putting the game on your home screen or desktop.
Good to know
Before you install.
Saves live on the device
Each build keeps its own local saves — the native apps add a title screen with ten manual save slots plus autosaves. Saves don't sync between your browser, phone, and PC.
Updates
The game changes often. Check back here for a fresh build; on Android a newer APK installs over the old one and keeps your saves. There's no auto-updater yet. Current build: v1.0.0 (build 67), updated 2026-08-03.
It's in development
Expect rough edges, and the odd change that resets things. It's honest and very playable — but it isn't the finished game. Feedback is welcome.
Sound & performance
Both builds ship with the full soundtrack and the GPU-accelerated world map. On phones, use a case-free grip — the day/night world runs continuously.
